PM receives Lao Deputy PM
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception for Lao Deputy Prime Minister, Politburo member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Inspection Commission and President of the Government Inspection Authority Bounthong Chitmany who was on an official visit to Viet Nam on August 15 in Ha Noi.

PM Phuc welcomed Mr. Bounthong Chithmany and the delegation of the LPRP Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.
Viet Nam and Laos have traditional ties and special solidarity. He added that Viet Nam stands ready to cooperate with Laos in numerous fields including inspection, said PM Phuc.
According to the host leader, the Vietnamese Government is determined to carrying out agreements reached by the two Politburos, including boosting key transportation projects.
He also agreed to work closely with the Lao side to organize party congresses at all levels.
The host leader was convinced that the official visit would contribute to positively accelerating the friendship and special solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos.
In reply, Mr. Chitmany said that his visit aims to realize agreements reached between the two inspection commissions and government inspectorates.
He said the Lao Government always strives to clear barriers and attract Vietnamese investment into the country, adding that Viet Nam’s projects have contributed to Lao socio-economic development.
The guest said Laos is holding party congresses at all levels and wants to learn from Viet Nam’s experience in the work./.
