PM to address Global Trade in Services Summit 2021

VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend and deliver remarks at the Global Trade in Services Summit 2021 via video link on September 2, at the invitation of Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

Pham is expected to stress on Viet Nam's stance on development of digital economy, digital technology and international cooperation in this sector.

The Summit, themed “Digital Opens the Future, Service Promotes Development”, attracts the participation of the Chinese President and leaders from other nations and international organizations.

The event, within the framework of the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), will offer an opportunity for leaders to propose measures to promote cooperation for mutual interest in sectors relevant to digital economy and e-commerce and seek for new impetus for sustainable development, economic growth and bringing practical benefits for their peoples and the international community.

At the Summit, the world top technology businesses will share latest scientific and technological and digital applications serving for manufacturing, trade service, supply chain and living.
