Park and library opened at 42 Nhà Chung
VGP – The park and public library in the land lot at 42 Nhà Chung Street were inaugurated this morning, October 03.

The work, called the Hàng Trống Park, is an addition to the capital’s green areas, providing a space for entertainment and relaxation demands of the local residents, especially pupils and old people.

In the first morning of its operation, the Hàng Trống Park welcomed a large number of visitors. According to many old people, this is a good place for children to play and all people to do exercises and relax. The park will be another “lung” to improve the capital’s environmental quality, they said.
On September 19, the Hoàn Kiếm District People’s Committee started to the construction of the park and public library in the land lot at 42 Nhà Chung Street. The three-storey building here was converted into the library, and the remaining area serves as a park with playgrounds and walkways.
