Party and State leaders commemorate heroic martyrs

VGP – A delegation of leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on Thursday morning offered incense to commemorate revolutionary martyrs on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

The delegation included PM Nguyen Tan Dung, former Party leader Le Kha Phieu, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An, Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection Ngo Van Du, Minister of National Defense Phung Quang Thanh and former VFF Chairman Pham The Duyet.

The leaders expressed their deep gratitude to the great sacrifice of the heroic martyrs to the nation’s glorious revolutionary cause, national freedom and people’s happiness.

Also in the morning, the leaders paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
