Party chief welcomes Lao Party officials

VGP - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on September 24 in Ha Noi welcomed a delegation from the Commission for External Relations of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP), led by Head of the LPRP Commission for External Relations Sunthon Sayachak.

The guest leader briefed the host of the talks between the two Party Commissions for External Relations, saying the commissions will work closely with other Party and State agencies to realize efficiently Party and State agreements.

​Ms. Sunthone Sayachac said that Laos will spare no effort to preserve and foster the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Viet Nam.

For his part, Mr. Trong hailed the two Party Commissions for External Relations for working actively to step up Viet Nam-Laos special solidarity.

He hoped that the agencies would coordinate tightly in both bilateral and multilateral issues, increase the sharing of information and experience, and boost the monitoring of the implementation of high-level agreements between the two Parties and countries.

The Party chief promised that Viet Nam will try its best to nurture the special solidarity with Laos in a practical manner across sectors, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world./.
