Mr. Liu Qipao briefed some significant achievements in socio-economic development made by the Party and people in Guangxi Province. He also reported to the Vietnamese Party head the good results of his visit to Vietnam with a view of expanding ties in trade, training, services, tourism and promoting the "two corridor one economic belt" cooperation which are expected to contribute to the China-Vietnam friendship and cooperation.

General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh suggested that, to further develop the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties and two countries, Guangxi Province should deepen its relations with Vietnam's localities and competent agencies in various fields, especially building the infrastructure for the project "two corridors, one economic belt" as agreed by the two governments. The two sides should accelerate the exchanges and cooperation among different sectors and mass organizations. They should also strive to finish the land border marker planting in 2008 to set up the Vietnam-China borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation and development. General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh confirmed that the Vietnamese Communist Party, State and people always attach importance to the relationship with China.
