Party leader hails Lao Party Congress success

The Vietnamese leader made the statement at his meeting with the visiting Lao Minister of PM’s Office and Chief of Government Secretariat, Cheuang Sombounkhan, in Hà Nội on June 6.

The Party chief said that Minister Cheuang Sombounkhan’s visit to Việt Nam would help boost the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

“The Việt Nam-Laos special comprehensive relationship exhibits the exemplary, pure, and faithful one that is rarely existed today,” Party leader Trọng stressed.

He also spoke highly of the outcomes of the talks between Vietnamese Minister, Chairman of the Office of Government Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and his Lao counterpart, Cheuang Sombounkhan, saying they would effectively contribute to expanding bilateral ties.

Minister Cheuang Sombounkhan conveyed thanks to Party General Secretary and NA Chairman Trọng for his warm reception.

The guest appreciated the Vietnamese Office of Government’s assistance to the Lao PM’s Office and Government Secretariat.

He said his country wishes to receive Party leader Trọng soon, and expressed his belief that the visit would help elevate the Việt Nam-Laos relationship to a new height.
