Petro prices jump VND 300 per liter

VGP – The Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance decided to raise petrol prices from 3:00 PM on June 5. Accordingly, retail prices of petro and E5 bio-fuel went up about VND 300 per liter.

The two ministries also decided to use the petrol price stabilization fund for RON92 petrol and E5 bio-fuel. The retail price of RON 92 was raised VND 303 per liter to trade at a maximum of VND 17,366 per liter. The price of E5 bio-fuel rose by VND 283 per liter to trade at VND 17,154 per liter.

Other types of oil were added VND 225 per liter for diesel to VND 13,484 per liter; VND 326 per liter for kerosene to VND 12,118; and VND 139 per kilogram for mazut to VND 11,035 per kilogram.

This was the third price hike in 2017 with a total increase of VND 1,150 per liter. The two ministries also cut retail prices by four times with a combined decline of VND 1,300 per liter./.
