The EC mission and organization Marie Stopes International in Việt Nam on Wednesday inked the project on building capacity of local authority and non-State actor sexual and reproductive healthcare providers in Việt Nam and Cambodia.

This is the first project under which a new model of public-private cooperation will be piloted in the field of reproductive healthcare.

The project aims at increasing the availability of family planning and reproductive services, bettering their quality and encouraging the community access to health services of private providers.

The project will be implemented in Thừa Thiên-Huế and Vĩnh Long of Việt Nam and Ratanakiri and Svay Rieng of Campuchia from January 2010 to December 2012.
