Re-arrangement of agro-forestry companies to be reviewed

VGP – Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue has approved of a proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) on the organization of a conference on five-year implementation of Resolution 30/NQ-TW, dated March 12, 2014 of the Political Bureau.

The conference will take place late October in Ha Noi.

The MARD was asked to work with the National Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development to organize the conference and report the PM before October 26.

The measures on re-arrangement, renovation, development and efficiency and performance improvement of agro-forestry companies has attained positive outcomes.

So far, the PM has approved measures of 40 localities and 256 agro-forestry companies in six models of arrangement.

These companies have been arranged in new modals with 160 companies, meeting 62.5% of plan.

A large number of localities and enterprises operated efficiently including Lao Cai, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Kien Giang, Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Long An, Viet Nam Rubber Group, and the Viet Nam Forest Corporation./.
