RoK grants honor to VN’s former PM
VNGOP – On the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Việt Nam-Republic of Korea (RoK) diplomatic ties (December 1992), the RoK Government has honored the Grand Gwanghwa Medal to former Vietnamese PM Phan Văn Khải.

RoK Ambassador to Việt Nam Im Hong-jae offered the medal to former PM Khải at a solemn ceremony held in Hà Nội on February 21. The Ambassador asserted that his Government’s award to the former Vietnamese PM is to honor the latter’s contributions to the establishing and development of the diplomatic relationship between Việt Nam and the RoK.
The Grand Gwanghwa Medal is the RoK’s highest order for a foreign high-ranking leader.
