Sai Nga Village is known as the land of palm trees, the main ingredient of the products, and then the strong development of conical hat occupations is inevitable.

The village has been bustling all day with production processes of leaf cutting, ironing, designing and hat sewing.

Sai Nga is home to over 600 households with more than 650 hat makers who can produce up to four hats each per day. On average, nearly 500,000 hats are yearly churned out, helping local residents raise incomes and improve living standards.

A good hat should go with beautiful and even sewing lines, and flat surface. Sai Nga hat is famed with its simplicity, white and long-wearing but villagers meet no difficulty to embroider a poem or a picture on their products to serve customers’ demands.

Sai Nga conical hats are easily to be recognized among other products as on their products people can see images of the midland’s nature beauties such as palm forest, tea plantation, bamboos, and its people.

Hats are highly recommended souvenirs to tourists when visiting the craft village.
