VN expects to sign agreement on agriculture cooperation with U.S.

Hatch, who has been the President pro tempore of the U.S. Senate, affirmed Viet Nam is an important partner of the U.S., highly valuing the Southeast Asian country’s reform achievements.

He pledged to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation with Viet Nam across fields, including agent orange/dioxin decontamination.

Deputy PM Hue extended thanks to Senator Hatch for his support for Viet Nam, affirming Viet Nam wishes to foster comprehensive ties with the U.S. on the basis of respect for respective political systems.
