State President extends Lunar New Year greetings
VGP – Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, on behalf of the Party and State, has extended his greetings and best wishes to all Vietnamese people at home and abroad as well as foreign friends on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet).

In his message, Trong recalled that Vietnamese people were united to overcame numerous difficulties to gain important and comprehensive achievements in almost all fields in 2018, creating an exciting atmosphere that is spreading deeply and widely throughout the country.
Entering the new year of the Pig, he called on the whole Party, people and army to continue staying united and striving to successfully realize the set targets in order to gradually turn Viet Nam into a more prosperous and more beautiful country as our beloved President Ho Chi Minh had wished when he was alive./.
