State President inspects flood-hit regions

VGP – State President Nguyễn Minh Triết on November 3 headed to the southern province of Ninh Thuận to inspect flood-ravaged areas and encourage local victims to early overcome bad consequences of the natural disaster.

Mr. Triết expressed his sympathy to flood victims who had lost their properties and houses from the natural disaster.

The State President also presented money and emergency relief to the victims while underlining that the Party and State would take action to back the local residents to early stabilize their lives and production.

According to the local authorities of Ninh Thuận, torrential rains have caused one death and three missing, submerged 5,000 houses and damaged 13,000 hectares of paddy rice and fruits.

The State President called upon more assistance for local people in the South Central Coast to surmount difficulties./.
