General Hag Almed Elgayli stated that in the past, the Sudanese people always supported Việt Nam during the struggles for national reunification and independence. Sudan considers the Vietnamese revolution's successes as common triumphs of the world revolutionary movement. General Hag Almed Elgayli expressed his desire that the two countries will further increase their cooperation in economy, culture, education and national defense.

Deputy PM Trương Vĩnh Trọng affirmed that Việt Nam will provide favorable conditions for ministries, sectors and businesses to fruitfully cooperate with Sudanese partners, especially in agriculture, oil exploitation and processing industry, for the mutual benefits and development.
