     >>> All concerned parties must respect Viet Nam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa, Truong Sa archipelagos

Viet Nam demanded Taiwan stop the aforesaid drills and not repeat such similar actions in the future, Le said.

Taiwan’s organization of live-fire exercises around the Ba Binh island of Viet Nam’s Truong Sa archipelago is serious violation of Viet Nam’s territorial sovereignty over the archipelago, threatens peace, stability, maritime safety and security, causes tensions and complicates the situation in the East Sea.

As reapeatedly mentioned before, Viet Nam has sufficient historical evidence and legal ground to assert its sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos in line with international law, the Spokesperson emphasized./.
