Taxation Protocol with Singapore approved
VGP – The PM has approved the Second Protocol to revise the standing Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Tax Evasion signed on September 12, 2012.

The PM assigned the Ministry of Finance to cooperate with other relevant agencies and ministries to realize the Protocol.
Currently, Singapore is one of the top trade and investment partners of Viet Nam.
In 2011, the two-way trade between the two countries reached US$8.7 billion. Singapore has invested in more than 1,000 projects in Viet Nam with a total registered capital of nearly US$23 billion, ranking 7th among 95 nations and territories investing in Viet Nam.
