Patient 1,282 is a 27-year-old woman who landed in the Van Don airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on November 14 on flight VN311 from Japan.

She is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 1,283 is a 23-year-old man from District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

He had flown from the US to Japan on flight NH5 and then took flight VN311 to the Da Nang airport on November 8.

He is being treated at the Da Nang Lung Hospital.

The same day, 21 patients were declared free of the virus, raising the total recoveries to 1,124.

Earlier the same day, the Ministry of Health updated information about patient 1,032 who was repatriated from Russia on August 10 and tested positive for the virus on August 25.

He had been treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s  Dong Anh District until September 19 when he was declared free of Covid-19.

During his treatment time, he got six Covid-19 tests between August 30 and September 15 and all the testing outcomes turned out that he was negative for Covid-19.

After being discharged from the hospital, he isolated himself at home for the next 14 days as required and only met his girlfriend.

He returned to his university after fulfilling self-isolation at home.

The man was confirmed positive again on November 15 after experiencing fever and fatigue a day earlier.

He was then admitted to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases where he received Real-time PCR test and the outcomes showed that he is NEGATIVE, said the ministry./.
