US investors welcomed in VN, says Deputy PM

VGP – All enterprises and investors doing business in Việt Nam are considered as a component of the Vietnamese economy.

Hundreds of Vietnamese and US businesses took part in the Việt Nam Investment Forum, a part of the “Meet Vietnam,” held in San Francisco, California, on Monday.

There, Vietnamese delegates presented updated information about Việt Nam’s development and introduced investment chances for US and overseas Vietnamese enterprises.

At the Forum, Deputy PM Trương Vĩnh Trọng affirmed that Việt Nam is trying best to improve its investment environment.

Việt Nam welcomes investors from the US and will do its best to guarantee their interests, said the Deputy PM.

He noted that Việt Nam is now listed among 20 top promising countries in terms of software processing.

Also at the Forum, Deputy PM Trọng witnessed the signing of documents on cooperation in transport, infrastructure, hi-tech development, and e-payment services between US investors and Việt Nam’s Hồ Chí Minh City, Đà Nẵng and Cần Thơ.
