VN Airlines set to open two new air routes to Phuket, Bali

Accordingly, the HCM City – Phuket route, flights are scheduled to take off at 15:50 from HCM City and 18:40 from Phuket on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

The carrier plans to increase the frequency of the flights to seven per week from the end of March 2020.

The Ho Chi Minh City–Bali air route will conduct seven flights per week. However, from October 27, 2019 to the end of March 2020, the airline will only be running five flights per week due to restrictions at Denpasar airport in Bali.

Flights are scheduled to depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 11:10 and from from Bali at 16:50 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

The air route to Bali represents the second one hosted by Viet Nam Airlines which links the nation to Indonesia, after the Ho Chi Minh City-Jakarta route came into operation from December 2012 with a frequency of seven flights per week.

Aside from these two new routes, the carrier is also planning to re-open another one connecting the central coastal city of Da Nang to Bangkok, Thailand, from October 27. Departures will take place daily from Da Nang at 15:20 and from Bangkok at 18:00.

Deputy General Director at Viet Nam Airlines Le Hong Ha said the new routes affirm the carrier’s commitment to expanding its network and bringing convenience to the customers. In addition, Viet Nam Airlines’ charter flights will facilitate traveling of visitors from the EU, Japan, the Republic of Korea and many others countries to Bali and Phuket.

All flights on the routes will be performed with the use of Airbus A321 aircraft with four-star international quality service.

From September 20 to November 10, passengers will be able to purchase round-trip tickets on the Ho Chi Minh City–Phuket route with a starting price from just US$19 (VND455,000), and on the Ho Chi Minh City-Bali route from just US$69 or VND1,650, 000.

From September 20 to November 30, return tickets on the Da Nang-Bangkok route will also enjoy discounted rates with prices starting from US$15 or VND 360,000.
