Viet Nam and Ethiopia will also seek for assistance from the Food and Agriculture Organization and other international organizations to boost their mutual agricultural cooperation.

Deputy Minister Thu said that Viet Nam expects to shake hands with Ethiopia in terms of rice and industrial crops cultivation, husbandry, seafood as well as agricultural financial reform.

Mr. Wondirad Madefero expressed that Ethiopia desires to learn Viet Nam’s experience of agricultural export and food hygiene.

Viet Nam and Ethiopia established diplomatic relations in 1976. Viet Nam mainly exports footwear, garments, rice, seafood, plastic goods, coffee and peppercorn to Ethiopia and imports wood and cotton.
