VN, Laos beef up information linkages

VGP - Vietnamese Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam and Lao Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Bosengkham Vongdara on January 28 agreed to strengthen information relations.

Minister Vongdara thanked Viet Nam for providing effective assistance to Laos in various areas over the years, including information, communications, culture and sports.

The guest leader suggested Deputy PM Dam direct Vietnamese ministries and agencies collaborate closely with the Lao ministry to make bilateral cooperation more productive. 

The Lao delegation also worked with Radio the Voice of Viet Nam (VOV) and Viet Nam Television (VTV) to outline future cooperation plans. 

The same day, Vietnamese Minister of information and Communication Nguyen Bac Son and Lao Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Bosengkham Vongdara signed a plan to increase bilateral cooperation in information sharing over 2014-15./.
