The seminar is a good chance for Khazanah Nassional Berhad to share and exchange with Vietnamese counterparts their experience in developing capital market and investment for infrastructure construction. The attendants also discussed on the prospect of the private sector in offering funds in Asian countries, including Vietnam

According to many Khazanah members, a proper system of policies and regulations in the market regime, combined with a sound overall plan in financial field, greatly helps develop a dynamic capital market. The Government functions as the regulator who never intervenes in businesses' operation. The Khazanah members also presented many examples in which private entities successfully took part in financing and developing infrastructure.

Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng highly spoke of Malaysia's experience in financial investment in infrastructure development. He said that the two sides should have more discussions to share their experience; deepen a close relationship between the Governments, investors and consumers; set up a proper system of open policies in favor of investors.

The Deputy PM also urged the two sides to make more investments in engaging the whole society in public services, equitizing private companies, and building hospitals, schools, roads, post and telecommunication works. He expressed his wish that Khazanah Nassional Berhad will increase its comprehensive cooperation and investment in Vietnam and solidify its ties with SCIC to develop the capital market.
