PM Dung welcomed the outcomes of the talks between State President Truong Tan Sang and Governor General of New Zealand Jerry Mateparae, expressing hopes to spur the comprehensive ties with New Zealand, especially in economics, trade and investment.

According to the host leader, the Vietnamese Government would direct ministries and localities to work with their partners in the Kiwi country to fruitfully realize the agreements recently signed between the two sides.

He also recommended the two sides strive for the Viet Nam-New Zealand Plan of Action for the 2013-2016 period to make more impressive economic figures in the coming time.

Mr. Dung hoped that the Zew Zealand would continue to maintain high-level ODA provision for Viet Nam, grant more scholarship for Vietnamese students and closely work together in negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.

For his part, the visiting Governor General expressed his wishes to shake hands with Viet Nam in such areas as economics, investment, agriculture, education, aviation, clean technology, tourism, and climate change response.

New Zealand is ready to boost education cooperation with Viet Nam and seeks Vietnam’s support for its bid to realize business opportunities with other ASEAN member states, said Mr.  Jerry Mateparae./.
