PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng confirmed so while receiving the senior delegation of the Board of Audit and Inspection of the RoK headed by Chairman Yeon Jun Churl.

Chairman Yeon Jun Churl showed his gratitude to the Vietnamese Government for helping over 1,000 Korean businesses to fruitfully invest in Vietnam. According to him, Vietnam's current investment policies are open enough to attract foreign enterprises. The Chairman expressed his desire that the Vietnamese Government will support the RoK's bid to host the international expo 2012 in Yeosu.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng thanked the guest's good sentiments and assessments. Vietnam will properly consider the RoK's bid for the expo 2012, he said.

The Government head highly praised the cooperation between the two boards of audit and inspection of Vietnam and RoK, hoping the two sides to collaborate more closely for better results.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng expressed his pleasure at the positive development of the bilateral friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK after 15 years of establishing diplomatic tie. The RoK is now the third biggest investors in Vietnam, with more than 1,000 projects worth of US$ 8 billion, the PM revealed.

"Luckily, most of the RoK investors can succeed in Vietnam. This is resulted from our cultural similarities which are an important factor to boost investment and trade ties between the two countries," the PM stressed.
