"We extend our condolences to the
Myanmar Government, people and the victims’ families,” Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman
Nguyễn Phương Nga
said on April 16.
The three consecutive blasts at a park near Kandawgyi Lake killed at least 24 people and
injured 62 others.
According to Myanmar
officials, they occurred when hundreds of people were gathering at the park to
attend the New Year water-throwing festival.
Police
detected and neutralized the 4th bomb.
