VN confirms 12 new COVID-19 community infection cases in Quang Nam, Da Nang
VGP – The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on early August 1 has reported five COVID-19 community infection cases in Quang Nam Province and seven cases Da Nang City, raising the total patients in Viet Nam to 558.

Patient 548, a 37-year old man, is the family member of a patient in Da Nang Hospital.
Patient 549 is a 55-year old woman.
Patient 550 is a 75-year old woman.
Patient 551 is a 35-year old woman.
All of these three patients had close contact with a previously-announced COVID-19 patient (patient numbered 461).
Patient 552 is a 78-year old man. He is the family member of a patient in Da Nang Hospital.
Patient 553 is a 25-year old man, who is the patient of Da Nang Hospital.
Patient 554 is a 37-year old man, who had close contact with patient 416.
Patient 555 is a 33-year old man, who is the patient of Da Nang Hospital.
Patient 556 is a 29-year old man residing in Hoa Vang, Da Nang City.
Patient 557 is a two-year old boy, who had close contact with patient 509.
Patient 558 is a 72-year old woman, who is the patient of Da Nang Hospital.
Among 558 COVID-19 infection cases in Viet Nam, 302 imported cases were sent for medical quarantine upon their arrivals.
Since July 25, as many as 116 cases inked to Da Nang City have been recorded.
91,462 people having close contact or entering from the pandemic-hit areas are under medical surveillance, of whom 953 at hospitals, 18,063 at centralized quarantine camps, and 72,446 at places of residence.
