VN confirms 9 new cases of Covid-19
VGP – The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control confirmed nine new imported cases of Covid-19 this morning, bringing the patient tally to 1,265.
The latest patients are Vietnamese repatriated from Russia, Japan and Qatar.
Specifically, patient 1,257 is a 27-year-old man from Cam Due Commune, Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh Province.
He landed at the Van Don airport in Quang Nin Province on October 31 on Viet Nam Airlines flight VN5062 from Russia.
The patient is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.
Patient 1,258 is a 30-year-old man from EBhok Commune, Cu Kuin District, Dak Lak Province.

Both of them flew from Japan to the Cam Ranh airport in the central province of Khanh Hoa on October 30.
They are being treated at the Khanh Hoa Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Patient 1,260 is a 41-year-old man from Tan Thieu Ward, La Gi town, Binh Thuan Province.
Patient 1,261 is a 28-year-old man from Van Phu Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province.
Patient 1,262 is a 34-year-old man from Ward 10, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 1,263 is a 47-year-old man from Ward 10, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 1,264 is a 22-year-old man from Phu My Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province.
Patient 1,265 is a 20-year-old woman from Thanh Thoi B Commune, Mo Cay Nam District, Ben Tre Province.
The above six citizens were brought home from Qatar on October 30 and quarantined in Binh Duong Province.
They are being treated at the Binh Duong General Hospital.
Of the country’s patient tally, 1,103 have recovered and exited hospitals while 35 others have been reported dead./.
