VN destined for SEA Games 31 and Para Games 11

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed Decision 1616/QD-TTg for Viet Nam to host the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) SEA Games 31 and the 11th ASSEAN Para Games (Para Games 11).

SEA Games 31 will cover 36 sports and Para Games will include 11 sports which were decided by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

SEA Games 31 will take place at the end of November and early December, 2021. Para Games 11 will be held in December, 2021.

Para Games 11 will be held in Ha Noi. SEA Games 31 will take place in Ha Noi and surrounding localities.

The PM assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to establish a steering committee led by a Deputy PM.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment was asked to work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to decide expenditures to amend and upgrade some sports projects including building expenditure of Hoa Binh mountain bike racetrack.

The Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee was asked to work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build and implement a master scheme on organization including the opening and closing events and relevant activities./.
