VN jumps three notches in SDG Index 2019

VGP – Viet Nam ranked 54th in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index 2019, moving up three steps from 2018 position, according to a report, issued by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Bertelsmann Stiftung.

The report assessed the implementation of 17 SDG in 162 countries and territories in point ladder from zero (the worst) to 100 (the best). 

Denmark ranked top with 85.2 points and the Central African Republic was placed bottom with 39.1 points.

Average point of Southeast Asian countries was 65.7 of which Thailand took the lead with 73 points, ranking 40th out of 162 countries and territories. 

The rest of countries included Viet Nam (at 54th position), Singapore (66th), Malaysia (68th), the Philippines (97th), Indonesia (102th), Myanmar (110th), Laos (111th) and Cambodia (112th)./.
