VN offers medical supplies to Japan, US, Russia to help fight COVID-19
VGP – Viet Nam on Thursday offered medical supplies to Japan, Russia and the United States to help fight the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreaks.

Authorized by the Prime Minister, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung handed over 50,000 medical masks to the Japanese Prime Minister’s Office.
Deputy Ambassador Asaduma Sinnichi extended thanks to the Government and people of Viet Nam for their valuable assistance, considering it as a source of encouragement for his country.
He also thanked the Government for having taken care of 20,000 Japanese nationals living and working in the Southeast Asian country.
Earlier on March 31, Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu said his country pledged to provide at least ¥200 million in aid to help Viet Nam fight COVID-19, during his phone talks with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.

Authorized by the Prime Minister, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung also handed over 50,000 face masks to the White House’s Office.
Ambassador Kritenbrink spoke highly of Viet Nam’s responses to COVID-19, extending thanks to the Government and people of Viet Nam for the valuable assistance to his coutry.
The diplomat affirmed the US will continue fostering cooperation with Viet Nam in protecting health and safety of people in joint efforts to contain the pandemic.

Earlier, Viet Nam had offer financial support and medical supplies to several partners, including Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK./.
