The State President highly valued the visit of the Governor which aims to accelerate cooperative programs between the two countries, especially coordination in the course of achieving the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.

He also took the occasion to thank Japan for its ODA provision for Viet Nam.

Firms and agencies from both countries have reached deals in a wide range of areas, including agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, investment and support industry, said the host leader.

According to Mr. Sang, Viet Nam has dispatched officials to Ibaraki prefecture to learn from its experience in processing farm produce.

The host leader believed that investment promotion activities and new and preeminent policies will lure more Japanese investors to Viet Nam.

For his part, Governor Hiroshi Watanabe spoke highly of the investment environment in Vietnam, especially political trust.

Japan will continue maintaining ODA for Viet Nam in the coming time, said Mr. Hiroshi Watanabe.
The same day, Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh also hosted a reception for Governor Hiroshi Watanabe.
“Viet Nam promises to manage and spend Japan-funded ODA in an efficient manner in favor of its development goals,” affirmed Mr. Ninh./.
