Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai stated that while meeting with the World Bank Vice President for Concessional Finance and Global Partnerships, Axel van Trotsenburg, in Hanoi on Tuesday.
The Deputy PM highly valued the international institution’s assistance for Vietnam, especially in terms of management capacity improvement, technical assistance, institutional building and policy consultancy.
He expected that both sides would continue programs and projects related to public investment, banking and finance, business restructuring, climate change adaptation, technical infrastructure development and others.
Vice President Axel van Trotsenburg asserted that his working visit to Vietnam aims to find out benefits of preferential loans from the International Development Association (IDA) and the implementation of IDA-funded projects in Vietnam.
