VN starts preparatory work for East Asia WEF 2009
VNGOP – The PM entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to collaborate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and relevant agencies in working with the World Economic Forum (WEF) delegation within November 2007 to discuss the organization of the East Asia WEF 2009 in Việt Nam.

The two ministries were also required to thoroughly select some State-run enterprises to function as WEF members.
Those enterprises must surely make full use of all opportunities obtained in taking part in all conferences of the world's most important and prestigeous forums founded in 1971.
The MoFA introduces a high-ranking delegation to attend the annual WEF 2008 in Davos (Switzerland) and submit to the PM for decision.
