The conference summed up the whole work of border demarcation and landmark planting between Việt Nam and Cambodia since the signing of the Additional Agreement on Border Demarcation between the two countries on October 10, 2005 and approved the working plan 2008 as well as solutions to speed up this work in the future.

In 2008, landmarks will be planted at all couples of international, national, and auxiliary border gates between the two countries, as well as at the border residential areas to facilitate economic development and across-border exchanges.

The participants to the conference all showed their determination to collaborate with Cambodian partners to finish the work soon in order to build a peaceful borderline of frinedship and long-term stability.
