VN willing to share experience with Cambodia in HIV/AIDS and drug control

VGP - Deputy PM Trương Vĩnh Trọng, Chairman of Việt Nam’s Central Committee for AIDS, Drug Addiction and Prostitution Prevention, met PM Samdech Hun Sen of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Phnom Penh on Monday.

Deputy PM Trương Vĩnh Trọng highlighted the aim of his working visit to strengthen the two nations’ cooperation in eradicating against HIV/AIDS and drug addiction. 

He asserted that Việt Nam is ready to share experience with Cambodia in this work. He took the occasion to ask the Government of Cambodia will back Việt Nam’s investment projects in Cambodia as well as give favorable condition for Vietnamese investors to do business in such fields as finance, banking, infrastructure building and electricity.

PM Samdech Hun Sen expressed his hope that Việt Nam will cooperate and assist Cambodia through cooperation programs on setting up rehabilitation centers and training HIV/AIDS and anti-drug workers.

The host leader expected to see closer cooperation between the two countries’ security forces to fight against trans-national drug criminals.
