Mr. Dirk Niebel said to PM Dũng on March 8 that his Government had decided to give Việt Nam an additional sum of €7 million this year for vocational training and climate change combat.

PM Dũng confirmed that the Government of Việt Nam would back the realization of all agreements reached by the two sides.

He added that Germany’s ODA has been managed and used fruitfully, significantly contributing to Việt Nam’s socio-economic development.

Stating that the untapped potentials for bilateral cooperation remain great, PM Dũng hoped that in the time to come, the Government of Germany would continue to grant ODA for Việt Nam and the two sides would enhance their economic, trade, and investment cooperation for higher two-way trade turnover.
