VN’s biggest int’l manufacturing expo to open in Hà Nội

VGP - Leading firms from 20 countries will showcase their latest products and services in the industries like plastics and rubber, auto parts, automatic assembling technologies, and electronics at the “Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2009”, slated for May 28-30 in Hà Nội.

May 28, 2009 11:30 AM GMT+7

This is the ever largest expo of its kind to be held in Việt Nam, which are expected to draw the participation of 450 companies with over 1,000 technology products.

In addition to the three-day exhibition organized by Thailand’s Reed Tradex Company, an international electronics manufacturing technology trade exhibition and conference “NEPCON Vietnam 2009” will be held.

Twenty symposiums will be organized during the events to help Governmental agencies and businesses to better understand their strong and weak points.

According to Ms. Nichapa Yoswee, Chief Executive Officer of Reed Tradex, one of decisive factors for the future of Việt Nam’s manufacturing sector is technological transfer.

With the presence of 450 producers from the world’s industrial powers, the exhibition will offer great opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises, especially those operating in the auxiliary industries, she said.
