VN’s images to shine in California

VGP – “Meet Việt Nam 2009”, the first event to promote external economic activities and advertise Việt Nam’s images, will be held from November 15 to 16 in San Francisco, California, US.

Meet Việt Nam 2009 is held in California, US, on November 15-16

The event, organized by Việt Nam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other related agencies, includes external economic promotion activities, education and training cooperation and advertisement of Việt Nam’s images and potentialities.

There are such activities as the “Vietnamese Cultural Space” exhibition displaying books, photos and traditional musical instruments.

In the framework of “Meet Việt Nam,” there will be an investment forum which is expected to attract more than 200 US investors. Representatives from Hồ Chí Minh City, Đà Nẵng and Cần Thơ (Việt Nam) will introduce their own localities’ potentialities to the US investors.

The event is aimed at creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese citizens in California to get access to genuine and updated information about the fatherland and present opportunities of cooperation in trade, investment, education and training.
