Located in Thuận An District in the southern province of Bình Dương, API becomes the second in Việt Nam and the fourth in Southeast Asia certified by APHIS to apply the technology.

The factory has shaken hands with Vietnamese and American experts to advance its equipment in order to fulfill six adequate steps of APHIS on high-quality food safety.

In the short term, API can radiate yearly 30,000 tons of fruits (dragon fruit, rambutan, longan and litchi) and expects to raise the volume to 100,000 tons in the time to come.

Following the success of API, Vietnamese qualified fruits will have more chances to penetrate into the US market./.
