Viet Nam reports 123 new COVID-19 cases, 188 recoveries

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 123 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday evening, bringing the national patient tally to 15,275.

The latest patients include eight Vietnamese returnees from Cambodia (3), the Philippines (4) and the United Arab Emirates (1).

All the others are domestic infections recorded in Ho Chi Minh City (58), Nghe An (11), Phu Yen (10), Dong Thap (8), Da Nang (7), Quang Ngai (6), Bac Giang (5), Binh Duong (5), Binh Thuan (2), Ha Noi (2) and Bac Ninh (1). Of these, 108 cases were detected in quarantine camps or lockdown areas.

The ministry reported that 188 patients were discharged from hospitals, raising the total number of recoveries to 6,137.
