Vietcombank third time wins int’l prize

VGP – The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Việt Nam (Vietcombank) on Thursday in Hong Kong was awarded the prize “Best bank in Việt Nam 2009” in terms of forex trading and currency management.

The prizes were conferred by Asianmoney Magazine for the business activities of the banks worldwide.

Vietcombank was the only representative from Việt Nam to be awarded six prestigious prizes.

These awards included "The best forex services provider in Việt Nam 2009" selected by the enterprises; "The best bank with creative ideas in forex trade in Việt Nam in 2006-2008" selected by the enterprises and financial institutions; "The best domestic bank for cash management in Việt Nam 2009" selected by the small and medium sized enterprises; and "The bank with best online transaction services."

Earlier, in 2007 and 2008, Vietcombank were also hailed by Asiamoney as the best bank, the best cash manager and the best forex service provider in Việt Nam.
