Vietnam Airlines opens Hanoi-Chengdu direct route

VGP - Vietnam Airlines on June 27 inaugurated the direct air route between Hanoi and China’s Chengdu city, with flights every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, using Fokker 70 planes.

The plane takes off from Hanoi at 12.10am and from Chengdu at 4.15pm (local time) and the flight duration is two hours.

The new route, the 6^th direct one of Vietnam Airlines to China, is expected to strengthen exchanges and economic, cultural and educational cooperation between Vietnam and China’s southwestern region.

Now, Vietnam Airlines runs 36 direct flights a week between Vietnam and China.

On the occasion of the new route, Vietnam Airlines offers promotional return airfares of VND5.22 million, bought from now to December 31 for departure from June 27 to December 31.
