The complex is the result of cooperation between Quang Ninh and Thanh Cong Group. It will be built on an area of 340 hectares and located adjacent to Cua Luc Bay, a favorable location for both domestic and international trade exchanges.

In the near future, the complex is expected to gather many businesses in the automotive supporting industry, especially high-technology ones. This will help create cooperation, connection and specialization among enterprises in the industry.

Addressing the event, Deputy PM Dung highlighted that the Government and the PM will come up with measures to encourage the development of Viet Nam’s automotive industry, thus meeting the needs for domestic consumption and exports.

The goal of the Government is to have Vietnamese-brand and made-in-Viet Nam cars with good quality and eye-catching design that are capable of convincing consumers to use, he said, encouraging Vietnamese businesses to participate further in the value chain of the automotive industry and gradually increase the localization rate of domestically manufactured and assembled cars, towards joining the global auto industry value chains.

Concerning Quang Ninh, he asked ministries and sectors to support the province to develop more rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably, thus actively contributing to the common development of the northern key economic region and the whole country./.
