The first group covers household devices like compact lamps, air conditioners, washing machines, multi rice cookers, fans, and televisions.

The second group includes office and commercial equipment like photocopiers, computer screens, printers, and commercial fridges.

Industrial equipment like transformer machine and electric engine belongs to the third group.

The final group includes transport vehicles (under seven-seat cars).

Under the Decision, voluntary energy labeling is encouraged on the first and third groups from nơnow to December 31, 2012. Compulsory energy labeling for the two groups will be enforced from January 1, 2013.

That labeling will be required for the second group from January 1, 2014 and the fourth group, from January 1, 2015.

Under the regulation, 60w-round lamps are not permitted to be imported and circulate in the domestic market.

The State will partly finance the National Targeted Program on Energy Efficiency and Conservation in a bid to facilitate the production of energy saving products which strictly comply with the new regulations on energy labeling and minimum energy productivity./.
