In terms of economic sectors, industry and construction posted highest growth rate of 6.62% against the same period last year, followed by service sector up 6.24%, and agriculture-forestry-aquaculture up 2,39%.

The GSO also reported that the September’s consumer price index rose by 0.82% against August, making the first nine months’ consumer price index increase by 18.16% against the same period last year.

To realize the whole year growth target of 6%, GDP must grow 6.5% in the last months. It is difficult to achieve the target due to the global economic woes, particularly Europe’s public debt, experts said.
