On Monday morning, the two defense ministers held talks, agreeing to boost exchange of delegations at all levels and military cooperation. They shared experience in coping with climate change and natural disasters.

After the talks, the two ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation between the two countries’ armies.

Mr. Thanh expressed his belief that the visit would contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the two armies.

The guest congratulated Việt Nam on successful organization of the 4^th ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM-4).
