VN, Thailand agree to boost rice production cooperation

VGP – Việt Nam and Thailand agreed to step up cooperation in rice production and processing and export.

The agreement was reached at the talks between Vietnamese NA Chairman Nguyễn Sinh Hùng and his Thai counterpart Somsak Kiatsuranont in Hà Nội on October 10.

The top legislators also agreed on further exchange of delegations and experiences between the two countries’ law-makers.

On the occasion, NA Chairman Hùng extended his condolences over the severe damages caused by recent floods in Thailand.
