Visa exemption certificates to be issued at US$ 20

VNGOP – The Ministry of Finance has just promulgated a decision stipulating the fee of visa exemption certificates (VECs) at US$ 20 and US$ 10 per person for first issuance and re-issuance respectively.

According to the decision, the VEC fee is a part of the State budget.

The fee collecting agencies (Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, Immigration Department) are allowed to spend 30% of the total fee for the issuance-related expenses.

The remaining 70% will be included in the State budget.
